Orders, Quotes and Payments
Quotes: All quotes provided are estimates and remain valid for 30 days. Final charges may be adjusted following an on-site survey or if additional work is identified.
Booking Deposit: A non-refundable booking fee may be required to secure your slot. This covers scheduling and administrative costs.
Final Payment: Payment for works is due on the day of completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late Payment: We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue payments at a rate of 2% above the Bank of England base rate.
Payment Methods: We accept bank transfer, debit/credit card, and cash.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide reasonable access to the property during agreed working hours
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from debris where possible
Remove or protect valuable items and furniture from the work area
Inform us of any potential issues that may affect our work
Advise if surfaces have been treated with silicone sealants or other non-paintable substances
Failure to complete required preparation may result in additional charges.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Client Cancellation:
Cancellations within 24 hours of order confirmation may incur no fee
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before scheduled start date may incur a fee of up to 10% of the project cost
Projects cancelled after work has commenced will forfeit any deposit and may be charged for work completed
Our Right to Cancel: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances. We will always endeavour to provide as much notice as possible.
Colour Matching
Colour Choices: We offer a wide range of colours including RAL, British Standard, Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, and bespoke matching.
Accuracy: While we strive for precision in colour matching, slight variations may occur due to differences in substrates, lighting conditions, or material properties. Colours viewed on screens may differ from the final finish.
Approval: Final colour and finish choices must be approved by the client before painting begins.
Warranty and Liability
Warranty: Our work is covered by a guarantee as specified in your quote (typically 5–10 years for UPVC work, 5 years for kitchen resprays). This covers peeling, flaking, or paint-related defects attributable to our workmanship.
Exclusions: The warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by improper handling, misuse, or neglect
Normal wear and tear
Damage caused by cooking oils, spices, or discolouration from natural ageing
External influences (weather, mechanical abrasion, falling objects)
Damage caused by installation errors or third-party work after our completion
Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is strictly limited to the cost of our workmanship. We shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Statutory Rights: Nothing in this Agreement limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or affects your statutory rights under UK law.
